Is Terbinafine Used for Off-Label Reasons?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend terbinafine for treating something other than the condition discussed in this article. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, there are a few off-label terbinafine uses. For example, using terbinafine to treat fungal infections other than nail infections or tinea capitis is an off-label use of this drug.
