Lidex Drug Information

Lidex® (fluocinonide) is a medication licensed for the treatment of a variety of skin conditions, such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. It comes in several forms, including a cream, an emollient cream, an ointment, a gel, and a topical solution. It is approved for use only in adults.

When using Lidex, apply a thin layer of the medicine on the affected areas of the skin two to four times daily. Although most people tolerate it well, side effects can occur and may include skin irritation, such as burning, itching, and dryness.
