Desoximetasone Medication Information

Desoximetasone (Topicort®) is a steroid medication used to treat dermatitis, eczema, and many other skin conditions. It comes in the form of a cream, ointment, and gel. The medication is applied to the affected areas of the skin two times a day. Potential side effects may include skin irritation, such as burning, itching, or dryness.
 
While most people do not have any problems while using this drug, desoximetasone is not suitable for everyone. For example, you may not be able to use it safely if you have certain allergies or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
