Cutivate Lotion Medication Information

Cutivate Lotion® (fluticasone propionate lotion) is a medicine licensed for the treatment of mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis. This lotion is applied to the affected areas once daily, and it should not be used for longer than four weeks at a time. It is approved for use in adults and children as young as 1 year old.
 
When using Cutivate Lotion, apply a thin layer of the medication on the affected areas of the skin once daily. Although most people tolerate the medicine well, side effects can occur and may include dry skin, stinging at the application site, or common cold symptoms.
 
Before using Cutivate Lotion, make sure your healthcare provider has up-to-date information on any other medications you are taking, including vitamins and supplements, as well as any allergies you may have, including to foods, dyes, or preservatives. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
