Benzyl Alcohol Lotion Information

If you have head lice, your healthcare provider may prescribe benzyl alcohol lotion (Ulesfia®). This medication comes in the form of a lotion that is applied to the hair and scalp for at least 10 minutes. Two applications of this medicated lotion are necessary, with seven days between treatments.
