Protopic Safety

When treating eczema (a kind of atopic dermatitis) with Protopic® (tacrolimus ointment), keeping some important safety precautions in mind can help ensure an effective treatment process, with minimal risks to you. This includes applying the medication exactly as your healthcare provider directs, avoiding excessive sun exposure during treatment, and reporting any unusual swelling, rashes, or other problems to your healthcare provider.
