Protopac

For severe cases of atopic dermatitis (eczema) that have not responded to other treatments, or for cases in which other treatments cannot be used, Protopic® (tacrolimus ointment) may be recommended. This medicated ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin twice a day. Side effects are generally mild, but can include reactions at the application site, such as redness or irritation.
