Lidex Liquid

If you have eczema, psoriasis, or certain other inflammatory skin conditions, a healthcare provider may prescribe Lidex® (fluocinonide) topical solution. This liquid form of Lidex is approved for use in adults and is applied in a thin layer on the affected areas of the skin two to four times daily.

As a type of steroid, Lidex topical solution works by reducing inflammation and suppressing an overactive immune system. Although most people tolerate this medication well, it is not suitable for everyone. Make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any allergies you may have and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Also, to avoid potential drug interactions, make sure your healthcare provider knows about all other medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking.
