Lidex Gel

A healthcare provider may prescribe Lidex® (fluocinonide) gel to treat certain skin conditions that cause itching and inflammation. This medicine is specifically designed to treat skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis, just to name a few.

The typical recommended dose of Lidex gel is to apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin two to four times daily. Possible side effects may include skin irritation, such as burning, dryness, and itching.

It is generally not recommended to use this medicine for long periods of time, as it may lead to serious complications. For instance, using too much of this medicine for extended periods may lead to Cushing's syndrome or diabetes.
