Lidex Cream

People who have certain skin conditions, such as dermatitis, eczema, or psoriasis, may benefit from Lidex® (fluocinonide) cream. This prescription medicine works to relieve inflammation and itching associated with these skin problems by reducing inflammation and suppressing an overactive immune system.

The dose of Lidex cream your healthcare provider prescribes will depend on the type and severity of the skin condition being treated. In general, a thin layer of the cream is applied to the affected areas of the skin two to four times daily. Possible side effects may include burning, itching, and dryness.

Before using this medicated skin cream, tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking. Also, make sure he or she knows if you have any allergies or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
