Diagnosing Lichen Sclerosus (Cont.)

Who Can Diagnose Lichen Sclerosus?

Lichen sclerosus can be diagnosed and treated by dermatologists (doctors who treat the skin) and by gynecologists, if the female genitals are involved. Urologists (a specialist of the urinary or urogenital tract) and primary healthcare providers with a special interest in genital diseases can also make a lichen sclerosus diagnosis.
