Lamsil

People who have fingernail or toenail fungus may benefit from Lamisil® (terbinafine hydrochloride). This prescription medication is also approved to treat ringworm of the scalp. It works by either killing or slowing down the growth of the fungus that is causing the infection. Although most people tolerate Lamisil well, it is not suitable for everyone. Make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about any other medical conditions you may have and any other medications you are taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements) before starting treatment with this medication.
