Hydroxyzine 10 mg

Hydroxyzine (Atarax®, Vistaril®) is an antihistamine medication that comes in many different forms and is used for a variety of different purposes. The lowest available dose of hydroxyzine is 10 mg, which is available in the form of tablets or syrup. It is typically taken two to four times a day.

The amount your healthcare provider recommends will vary based on several factors, such as the medical condition being treated, other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you are taking.

You can take hydroxyzine with or without food; however, for the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. Do not adjust your dosage without your healthcare provider's approval and supervision.
