Drinking Hydrogen Peroxide
There have been reports of serious side effects in people who have tried drinking hydrogen peroxide to improve their health. Negative effects have also been seen when hydrogen peroxide was given by IV or in enemas. Although problems are most likely when high-strength (undiluted) concentrations are used, even standard, household-strength (3%) hydrogen peroxide can cause serious side effects.
A number of controversial Web sites recommend treating your ailments with a 35% "food grade" hydrogen peroxide solution -- either by drinking it or taking it in other ways. However, this product is not meant for internal use, as it can be very damaging to tissues. In fact, it can cause serious harm, and in some cases, death.
