Elidel® (pimecrolimus) is a medication that is available by prescription only and helps treat symptoms of mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in people who have not adequately responded to other treatments.
This medicated skin cream works by suppressing the immune system, making it less active. To help ensure a safe treatment process, make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medical problems you might have, such as any type of infection or cancer, as well as any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking.
