What Is Diflorasone Emollient Cream?
If you have certain skin conditions, a healthcare provider may prescribe diflorasone emollient cream (ApexiCon® E Cream). But what is diflorasone emollient cream and how does it work?
This prescription skin medicine is approved for treating several skin problems, such as:
- Dermatitis
- Psoriasis
- Eczema
- Poison ivy.
Diflorasone emollient cream is a type of steroid, and works to treat these and other skin problems by reducing inflammation and suppressing an overactive immune system. It is applied to the affected areas of the skin one to three times daily.
