Diflorasone Diacetate Cream

Your healthcare provider may recommend diflorasone diacetate to help relieve inflammation and itching caused by various skin conditions. Specifically, this medicine, which is applied to the affected areas one to three times a day, is approved for treating problems such as dermatitis, eczema, and poison ivy, among others. It comes in three forms: cream, emollient cream, and ointment.

Regardless of whether you are using the ointment, cream, or emollient cream, apply diflorasone diacetate sparingly and gently rub it in. Only a thin film is necessary, and using more does not increase effectiveness.
