Decadron 10-Mg Injection
Decadron® (dexamethasone) is a prescription medicine used to treat a variety of conditions, including hormonal disorders, rheumatic disease, or respiratory disorders, just to name a few. This medicine comes in many strengths and forms, including tablets, an oral liquid (both as an elixir and a solution), an ophthalmic/otic solution (eye and ear drop), and an injection.
The Decadron dose your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on several factors, such as the particular product being used, the type and severity of the condition being treated, and other medications you are taking. For example, a healthcare provider may prescribe 10-mg injections of Decadron. Many other dosages are available as well. The initial dose in adults is generally 0.75 mg to 9 mg a day -- however, lower or higher doses may be used in some cases.
