Dacarbazine 200 Mg

Adults who have Hodgkin's disease or malignant melanoma (a type of skin cancer) may receive dacarbazine (DTIC-Dome®). This prescription medication is given as an injection into a vein (by IV). It is usually given once a day for 5 to 10 days, followed by a break in treatment. There are two strengths of dacarbazine available:
 
  • Dacarbazine 100 mg
  • Dacarbazine 200 mg.
 
The specific dosage of dacarbazine your healthcare provider prescribes will depend on your weight, the reason you are using the drug, and various other factors. Some of the possible side effects of this drug include nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite.
