Clobex Spray
The prescription drug Clobex® (clobetasol propionate) comes in the form of a shampoo, lotion, and spray. There are a number of uses for these skin products, including the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and allergic reactions. However, Clobex Spray is only approved for the treatment of plaque psoriasis.
Clobex Spray is recommended for short-term use only, and dosing instructions must be followed very carefully. Using too much -- or using it for too long -- may cause serious side effects. This product is usually applied twice a day. The medication should be rubbed in gently and completely. Do not use more than 26 sprays at a time (or more than 52 sprays per day).
