Side Effects of Clemastine

Drowsiness, chest mucus, and dizziness are some of the most commonly reported side effects of clemastine. In most cases, side effects of the medication are mild and either do not require medical attention or can be treated easily. Certain side effects are potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider right away, such as double vision, difficulty passing urine, or hearing loss.

An Introduction to Clemastine Side Effects

As with any medicine, clemastine fumarate (Tavist® Allergy, Dayhist® Allergy) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, some people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.
