Important Instructions on Clemastine
General considerations include the following:
- This medication comes in tablet form (for the non-prescription version) and tablet or syrup form (for the prescription versions). It is taken by mouth two or three times daily.
- You can take it with food or on an empty stomach. If the medication seems to bother your stomach, try taking it with a little food.
- For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as directed.
For the non-prescription version, there is only one standard recommended dosage for this medication. For the prescription versions, the recommended dosage will vary, depending on your age and the medical condition being treated.
