Drug Interactions With Azficel-T

Although studies haven't been performed yet on drug interactions with azficel-T, certain medications might increase your risk of bruising and/or bleeding during the initial biopsy, as well as the actual treatment sessions. These drugs include heparin, ticagrelor, and warfarin, among many others. In addition, interactions that simply haven't been discovered yet are possible, so tell your doctor about all your current medications.

An Overview of Azficel-T Interactions

Azficel-T (LaViv™) is a unique cell therapy product used to treat smile lines. No drug interaction studies have been conducted for this medication yet. However, it is predicted that azficel-T might interact with any medication that increases the risk of bleeding. Such drugs include but are not limited to:
 
 
 
People on such medications probably have a higher risk of bruising and/or bleeding during both the initial biopsy and the treatment sessions. Make sure your healthcare provider knows if you are on any such medications. In some cases, your healthcare provider might decide that azficel-T is not right for you.
