Were you looking for information about Acitretin? Acetretin is a common misspelling of acitretin.

Acitretin (Soriatane®) is a type of retinoid that is prescribed to treat severe psoriasis in adults. This prescription medication comes in capsule form and is typically taken once daily with the main meal of the day. Because acitretin can be extremely dangerous for a fetus, women of childbearing potential must use two forms of contraception while taking this drug and for three years after stopping it. Common side effects of the medicine can include dry skin, chapped lips, and hair loss.
